CERL Affiliated Faculty Firoozeh Kashani-Sabet is among the organizers of a two-day conference marking the one-year anniversary of Mahsa (Jîna) Amini’s death and the “Woman. Life. Freedom.” protests that followed. Penn Today interviewed the organizers about the conference and why it is so important to keep sustained attention on the issue.
