To commemorate the 250th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence, CERL Faculty Director spoke to Penn Today about the bravery that was shown by the founders when they signed the Declaration, as well as the complicated legacy of the document.

Claire Finkelstein is the Algernon Biddle Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania and the Faculty Director of the Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law. Read her bio here.
