The Trump administration’s bias is polluting the integrity of the intelligence community and damaging the nation’s security

Former President Donald Trump appeared in a Manhattan courtroom on Monday for a civil trial relating to the fraudulent inflation of business assets by Trump and others in the Trump Organization. On Al Jazeera, CERL’s Prof. Claire Finkelstein joined Daniel Freeman of the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies and Carrie Sheffield of Independent Women’s Forum to discuss what is at stake for Trump and whether these trials will hurt or help his presidential candidacy.

Claire Finkelstein is the Algernon Biddle Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania. She is also the founder and faculty director of the Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law (CERL). Read her bio here.
