CERL’s Professor Claire Finkelstein spoke with Ian Masters of Background Briefing about the recent oral argument that could lead to the Supreme Court undoing charges against former President Donald Trump, as well as the rioters who stormed the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. “[We’re] trying to ensure that there’s the ability to bring about the kind of accountability that our domestic legal system really needs to ensure that this kind of occurrence does not reoccur,” says Finkelstein. “But it’s extremely difficult to do.”

Claire Finkelstein is the Algernon Biddle Professor of Law and Professor of Philosophy and Faculty Director of the Center for Ethics and the Rule of Law. Read her bio here.
