A group of over 20 constitutional scholars, including CERL Executive Board member Stuart Gerson, has published an open letter in response to House Republican efforts to impeach Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. The charges raised against him do not meet the constitutional standards for impeachment, according to the legal experts.
