Professor Mary Ellen O’Connell, member of CERL’s Advisory Council, refutes claims that attacks by Israel and the United States on Iran’s nuclear weapons program in June were justified. She asserts the strikes were in violation of the United Nations Charter, which urges the use of diplomatic channels over military force.
