As the U.S. celebrates the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, the Philadelphia nonprofit Committee of Seventy hosted a summit to discuss the state of the American political process today. In debates moderated by experts including CERL Affiliated Faculty member Kermit Roosevelt, a diverse set of contributors discussed election integrity, voter participation, the balance of political power, and the information environment.

Kermit Roosevelt is the David Berger Professor for the Administration of Justice and a member of CERL’s Affiliated Faculty at the University of Pennsylvania. Read his bio here.
